This is my sis-in-law.
She is awesome, and my partner in crime these days...
Okay,
Start with an ugly vintage end table...
(yard sale for $5)
Step 1: sand the crap out of it
Step 2: Spray primer
Step 3: Use a light grit sand paper and make sure it's smooth
Step 5: Admire it...
Step 6: Glaze it
(this step is optional, but nice to give it a vintage look...
also adds a distressed finish so you aren't so uptight
about putting anything on your newly painted awesome table)
This is Kara's new end table for her apartment!

I am addicted to these re-dos!
My garage is suffering because of them!

You must check out Annie Sloan Chalk paint. This paint is amazing you don't have to prime or sand first. But you do have to wax at the end. You'll love it!
