We made Gravestones for the yard!
First, we lifted these 2 pieces of styrofoam out of our friend's garbage...
Drew out a pattern with a sharpie...
And busted out the foam cutter, heat knife! You need one of these!
Use in well ventilated area, the fumes from cutting styrofoam can be harmful.
We had the garage door open.
We let the 10 and 8 year old's do them...
The cutter melts the foam like butter--and no irritating SQUEAKY sound!
Used wooden dowels as stakes and pounded them into the yard!
Fun and Free little Halloween Decoration!

Then I mixed 1 part paint with 1 part elmers glue and
told the kids to coat the front and sides with the mixture.
This will give it a layer for the spray paint to
adhere to without melting it!
Then we sprayed them black, gray and silver for the perfect headstone!Used wooden dowels as stakes and pounded them into the yard!
