Glow in the DARK
Monster Toothbrush Buddies!
Don't judge the dirty, frayed and old toothbrushes...
I've since bought new ones. :)
(I get the 3 pack at the dollar store)
But the real thing was...my youngest son kept losing his toothbrush.
There was no "away" place for it.  There's a window
cupboard where the older kids keep theirs...
but no way the 4 year old could reach that.
Something had to be done.
So I decided little monsters were the only solution.
And of course the older kids wanted in on that too!
It was easy.
We used the leftover bake-able clay that we had from
You can get fimo or sculpey at craft stores and even Walmart.
It's pretty cheap and bakes to harden.
You can also find glow-in-the-dark!  A must for monsters!

Okay, we just rolled out a ball.
Squished our toothbrush in it.
The kids have little kid sized brushes, so they didn't need
to be big monsters to hold them.
If you are using a tall adulty type toothbrush, use a bigger wad of clay.
Then just build eyes, horns, spikes, mouth, teeth...whatever!
We used the glow in the dark for the eyes,
and swirled with some of the horns...
Let your children get creative!
I love that my daughter did wonky eyes!
Never in my OCD body would I have done that...and it's by far my FAV!

Bake them hard in the oven...about 10-15 minutes per 1/4"...at 225*F
we did 35 minutes and then let them cool.

It's hard to take pics in the dark...but here they are glowing!
They are a hit!
No more lost toothbrushes...they love their monster buddies!
