Chicken and Mesh Wire Vintage Picture Frames!
These are easy to make and super fun--could be a great gift for MOM!
Great for jewelry, hair clip or greeting card storage...
Makes a great memo board too!
 You will need:
Wooden Picture frames
Chicken and mesh wire are cheap...about $6 each for a roll at home improvement store.
Pliers
Staple gun/staples
(you wont need tin snips as pictured)
Unroll your chicken wire until a large enough piece to fit your frame.

Take pliers and snip every single wire in the line.

Lay it on the back of your frame.
Use your staple gun to staple the wire in place.

Tack down each side while pulling the wire straight...

I like to staple it at every junction.
(in the past I've hot glued strips of felt across the
loose wires to keep it from scratching anything)

Same technique with the mesh wire,
only there will be a load more snipping!
(no worries, I watched reruns of HGTV Design Star)

Large enough to fit the frame.
 And all stapled in place!

Bet you can't just make one!  Haha
I love the matching frames with the mesh and chicken wire!
This mesh is perfect for earrings!
Small pronged hair clips work as well!
Mini clothespins would tack up greeting cards perfectly too.

I made a bunch a few years ago and we love them!
Perfect for organizing all those hair clips!

I think I would use the tin snip scissors on the wire mesh instead of wire clippers. It would be faster. :)
