Chalkboard Wall Art with Neon Chalk Markers!

First I found these 2 flower wall art things at the thrift store...

I spray painted them black.

Let dry completely.

Then I coated them with Clear chalkboard coating.
I did it this way because I had all the supplies on hand.
If I was purchasing supplies, I'd just get the chalkboard paint or spray and do it once.

Roll it on and let it dry completely.
Says 24 hours to cure.

Season the writing surface with the edge of chalk.

Erase the chalk.
Wipe with dry cloth.

Now write all the things!

They write so smooth...not skippy like chalk.
They have reversible tips, but I left mine as the chisel tips.
They are great for mirrors and glass as well!
