Unicorn Poop Cupcakes!!!
Okay, these are adorable rainbow frosting cupcakes too!
They'd be great for Easter or Spring!!!
These were perfect for my unicorn birthday party in January!
I mixed up a big batch of buttercream frosting!
1 cube of butter, 4 cups or 2 lbs of powdered sugar, 1 Tbsp of milk and 1 tsp of vanilla.
I scooped out 3 bowls of vanilla frosting...
added a few drops of red in one bowl...yellow in the next and blue in the last!
I use this gel food coloring set.
There is a huge variety of colors and easy to mix!
This is a great way to do ombre frosting too!
Then drop blobs of each color into your frosting bag.
Basically drop the pink on one side, then the yellow next to it and then the blue in between.
Some people bag each color separately, but I tried that and the color was terrible.
The colors come out separately and don't blend at all. It was a disaster.
You want these colors to mix a little bit to make green, orange and purple.
So I squeezed it out in a new piping bag and that worked wonders.
The frosting squeezes out to make the perfect colored swirl on top of each cupcake!
At parties, I love to fill little cups with candy...
Then let everyone stick their cupcake on top for easy carrying.
Adorable and tasty!
