Reclaimed Wood USA Patriotic Red White and Blue Sign!
~
I'm excited to be part of Sugar Bee Crafts Red, White and Blue craft series!
I love Patriotic decor--I hardly have any!
Let the paint dry completely.
Then use a nail file to gently sand the edges.
I got some old fence wood and cut 4 pieces into 40 inch strips.
Then I took 2 14 inch pieces and tacked them behind to hold it all in place.
Just like constructing a pallet.
No sanding or messing with it after assembling, I love the bleached and rough wood.

I needed some patriotic decor for the front porch.
I had these U.S.A. letters from shopping at Pinner's conference a couple years ago.
They've just been sitting in my craft room for much too long.
This was just the kick I needed to get these up for the summer!
You will need:
USA letters
Fence panel pieces (or a pallet)
Red, white and blue paint
E6000 glue
I painted the U red, the S white and the A blue.Let the paint dry completely.
Then use a nail file to gently sand the edges.

No sanding or messing with it after assembling, I love the bleached and rough wood.
Then I arranged the letters and used a pencil to gently mark where the letters go.
Since my pallet is uneven, it only touches the letters on half.
So I put E6000 on the half that touches the wood pallet.
Then glue them all in place. I used some Mod Podge bottles to apply pressure while they dried.
I used E6000 because I know it will be outdoors in the weather.
Once dry, the sign is ready to display!
I love it!
It's perfect patriotic decor for the front porch! I love the rustic and polished combo.
