Marbled Copper Coasters DIY!
Marbling is so much fun...it is all the rage! I am hooked and could marble everything!
Have you tried it yet?
You will need:
Easy Marble
MDF Coasters
White Paint
Dish for marbling
Straight pin
Gold Leaf Paint
Start by painting all the coasters with white paint and let them dry completely.
Use the shallow dish and fill 2/3's with water. Make sure the coasters will fit inside the dish easily.
Open all the jars of easy marble and have them ready to go.
Put a drop of paint in the water, add another drop of paint, and another.
Continue adding all the paint you desire, but work quickly as it will start to set pretty quickly.
Use the straight pin to marble the paint. Lines, pulling and pushing the paint around, swirls and more.
Then dip the white painted coaster right in the paint and water. Submerge it completely.
Pull it out and set it on some paper to dry.
The marble looks awesome.
Repeat for all the coasters. Let them all dry completely.
Now get the Liquid Leaf, in classic gold and a fine paintbrush.
Paint all the edges of the coasters. Add some paint splatters if you want too! I love the touch of gold on them.
Let the paint dry completely and spray with lacquer spray. Let dry and use!
Enjoy these fabulous coasters!
