Vintage Rose Bead Chain Necklace DIY
This bead choker is simple and super cute.  It adds a great touch to any outfit.  Plus this fun rose bead has a cool backstory...

This bag of beads is super old.  I remember my mom making necklaces with these beads for me when I was little, like little.  She died when I was 16, and I am sure she had these beads from before she was married...so seriously, I am estimating that these beads are like 40 years old!  They are vintage for sure!  I love the silver and gold toned ones...so I am just using a mini gold rose bead.  You can find a fun gold bead at any craft store.

Here's a video of the process:

Supplies needed:
14 inches of gold chain (give or take depending on your neck size)
Gold plated clasp
Gold plated eye pin
2 Gold plated jump rings
Small gold bead
Jewelry Pliers

Slide the bead on the eyepin and trim the end so it is just over a 1/4 inch or so.  Curl that length into a loop and hook it on one end of the chain.  Open the loop on the other end of the eyepin and attach the chain.

Cut the chain in half. 

Now add the jump ring on one end of the chain and the clasp with the jump ring on the other end of the chain.

Clasp it together and it is ready to wear.

It is delicate and darling!  I love all the gold!
