Mustard Dipping Sauce Recipe
I am a dipper. I love sauces and dipping everything. I love fry sauce (yes I'm from Utah)...I love barbecue sauce (even on my pizza) and I love dips--especially guac! So my mother-in-law randomly told me about this mustard sauce and I knew I had to try it. It's good. It has a sweet and sour undertone with a rich mustard flavor. It tastes great in any place you would use fry sauce or bbq sauce. Great on meat and fried foods!
Mix all the ingredients in a sauce pan and stir it. Continue stirring it until it reaches a boil. It's crazy, it has eggs and butter and is oh-so-good. If you like dipping, give it a try!
It will become a lighter color and become much thicker.
Recipe:
1 Cup Mustard
1/2 Cup Butter
1 (10.5 oz) can of Tomato Soup
4 Eggs
1/2 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Vinegar
1 Cup Sugar
Beat all ingredients together and cook in heavy pan. Stir constantly until it thickens and reaches a heavy boil.
Try it and let me know what you think!
