Disney's Tangled: Mother Knows Best DIY Iron-On Shirt
I love Rapunzel, she is my princess...well, her and Cinderella. If you are planning a Disney Vacation, these shirts could outfit your whole family and they just take minutes to make! I love the cohesive glitter vinyl and the black shirts--but feel free to mix up colors and styles to your liking!
The final shirt tutorial is: Mother knows best.
Mother Gothel is relatable to moms...we want to keep our kids safe from harm and sometimes don't let them live life to the "fullest". I'm not going to philosophize any longer, but I like the song she sings.
You will need:
Cricut Explore Air™ 2 machine
Or Cricut Maker
Gold Glitter Iron-On Vinyl
Pink SportFlex Iron-On Vinyl
Black T-shirt
Cricut EasyPress
Cricut EasyPress Mat
~
Another element that makes this project ultra easy, is it's all on Cricut Design Space™. The image is a licensed Disney shape, so it costs $2, even for me. With Cricut Access Standard, you save 10%, so that's worth considering! Click here for the project I designed and you can make it in minutes!
Just click the "mirror image" button on both mats.
Weed the excess vinyl off the plastic backing of the Iron-on Vinyl.
Place the shirt on the EasyPress Mat and heat up the shirt for 10 seconds with the EasyPress. Then place the pink vinyl on the shirt.
Iron on the 305* setting for 20 seconds.
Let the vinyl cool down and remove the plastic cover.
Place the sunburst on the shirt and then cover the entire shirt with Cricut's Iron-On Protective Sheet. Place the Heat Press on top of the sheet for 20 more seconds and then flip the shirt over and heat the backside for 10 seconds. Finally let it cool completely, remove plastic and boom--done!
Mother knows best! Perfect shirt for mom to wear at the family vacation to Disneyland!
