Star Wars Millennium Falcon 12 Parsecs Iron-on Vinyl Shirt DIY
Just in time for the Han Solo movie this weekend--or any day of the week. This is the perfect geekery fandom Star Wars shirt. Everyone knows the Kessel run was done in less than 12 parsecs. Which doesn't make logical sense, but sounds great in a movie, right!?
So I did an amazing Millennium Falcon Polka Dot shirt yesterday...
And I had 7 little Millennium Falcons left over. They should not go to waste! You can just right click the silhouette png and load it into CDS and make multiple copies to cut out.
Then use a Cricut font to cut out the phrase 12 parsecs.
Don't forget to cut the Iron-on vinyl in the mirror, so it reads the right direction. Weed the excess vinyl.
Cut the Falcons apart and line up on the shirt however you like. I did a variety/symmetrical line with the 12 parsecs centered. I love center alignment, like on my blog...I can't seem to change it.
Use the EasyPress and Mat and heat at 305* for 30 seconds. I did half at a time. Then turn the shirt over and heat the backside for 10-15 seconds.
Let the vinyl cool completely and then peel back the plastic covering.
It's ready to wear and enjoy! Geek and fandom inspired crafts are my favorite!
The coolest shirt in the galaxy--It's sure to draw attention!
