Silver Tinsel Wreath with Solar Power Lights DIY!
Happy Thanksgiving to anyone celebrating today! Every Thanksgiving growing up, my mom would have a fun Christmas craft prepared so she and her sisters to craft after dinner. I love this tradition and try to get some Thanksgiving day crafting in. Let's make a fun DIY for the yard. This is a cool solar power light up wreath! It's fun to make and a fun soft glow you don't have to think about each night--it just goes on when it gets dark.
You will need:
18" Silver Tinsel Wreath
Solar Power String Lights
Gold Ribbon for Bow
I love working with the lights on so I can see where to go. Simply take the end of the string lights and wrap them carefully around every little branch. Once you run out of lights, tie a bow on the wreath and it's done!
For a guide on how to make a big bow like this, check out this post. This giant bow covered up where my lights were a little sparce. Perfect.
Now the biggest trick is to find a place to hang it that you can also set the solar panel in full sunshine. I used our carport column and stuck the panel in the grow box. It's a match made in heaven and looks amazing all lit up!
I love solar lights! They take all the guess work and thinking out of decorating! Yay!
