 Red White Blue Summer Patriotic Slush Drink Recipe with Torani Syrup

     Get a little patriotic with this delicious and colorful slushie drink for Summer!  This drink is red strawberry and blue raspberry syrup, the perfect patriotic combination.  It's non alcoholic, so it's perfect for a backyard barbecue for the entire family.  It's cold and refreshing--a great way to celebrate sunshine and nice weather!  Enter to win the #SummerGrillingWeek giveaway--full of Summer time prizes and $100--at the end of the post.

Ingredients Needed:

Blue Raspberry Torani Syrup
Strawberry Torani Syrup
Lemon Lime Soda
Crushed Ice
Whipped Topping

I love glasses.  Whenever I go to a thrift store, I am always on the look-out for a new glass or goblet.  I have shelf full of odd non-matching glasses and I love it.  I like to see which ones my kids are drawn to and the ones they love.  These glasses are on the favorite list.

Begin by putting a tablespoon of Blue Raspberry syrup in the base of the glass.

Then add 1/4 cup of lemon lime soda.

Next, pack the crushed ice in the glass.  Fill it to the top.

Then mix 1 tablespoon of Strawberry syrup and 1/4 cup of soda and pour it over the top of the ice.

Pour slowly and gently so it does not settle all the way into the blue section.

Then pour a little more lemon lime soda on top, gently as before.  Then top off the glass with a big scoop of whipped topping.  Add a straw and serve.  They are refreshing and adorable!
