FREEDOM Phonetic Alphabet Patriotic Shirt made with Cricut Maker!
Land of the free and the home of the brave! I love Independence day and the Red, White and Blue...I love seeing patriotic Summer time crafts.
This quick shirt is perfect for a last minute patriotic craft!
My husband served in the military and now I understand more what it means to give your all for your country.
I'm thankful for all the brave men and women that defend freedom. Freedom is a power word. Let's make it a shirt!
The phonetic alphabet is basically a spelling alphabet...so over the radio letters aren't confused...like B, C, D, P and the ones that sound the same.
It's fun to write things out in it. Freedom is the perfect word...I extra like it because my hubby is Mike! ;)
Supplies Needed:
- Cricut Iron-On Vinyl
- Cricut Maker 3 or Cricut Maker
Cricut Brightpad
Cricut Hand Tools
- T-Shirt
- Cricut EasyPress 2 9x9 Raspberry
- Font in Cricut Design Space called "Army Rangers"
Step 1: Type and Cut
Type out the phonetic spelling of the word FREEDOM. Place the iron on vinyl plastic side down on the mat and cut with the Maker.
Then weed the excess iron-on vinyl. Warm up the shirt with the EasyPress 2 and place the vinyl on the shirt.
I love my EasyPress 2. It's a game changer! No more wasted, curling or washed off iron on. I'm so happy about it! Highly recommended.
Step 2: Press
Place the EasyPress 2 on the plastic carrier sheet and Press for the recommended time on this chart. Let it cool completely and then peel off the carrier sheet.
