Tropical Fruit Punch Island Drink Mocktail Recipe!
Here's the most delicious tropical fruit punch recipe!
I love the sunset shade of pink, orange and yellow.
It's absolutely delicious, the tropical flavors are perfect for a special occasion, birthday parties, baby showers, a Luau or just for a hot Summer Wednesday.
The Inspiration: Turks and Caicos
Let me transport you to the tropics with this amazing, delicious and gorgeous tropical fruit punch from Beaches Resort: Turks and Caicos.
Read all about it here. I went with 2 of my friends to attend the Social Media on the Sand blogging conference back in 2019, before the world changed. Sadly this was the last year they held this conference...I am so glad I went!
The experience and location was ideal. We were served phenomenal drinks from the moment we arrived. Rum optional!
In October 2019 I was on the most amazing tropical island in the Caribbean. Right at the bottom of the Bermuda Triangle...the island chain know as Turks and Caicos. It was amazing!
We were served this Jamaican rum punch mocktail right as we arrived and the fruity drinks never stopped coming.
We tried a few varieties of drinks; pina colada, mint julep, ginger ale, and other non-alcoholic punch flavors...this one was by far the favorite.
I asked the lady making them what the drink recipe was...and she let me know so I could recreate it at home.
I love it--I hope you do too!
Copycat from Beaches Resort Turks and Caicos--Non Alcoholic drink!
The Beaches Resort was stellar, they thought of everything and our entire vacation was frictionless.
We just had to get to the airport on Providenciales and the rest of the trip was taken care of.
I want to go back every year for the rest of my life. (As of this updated post in 2022, I've never been back to the island...but I think and dream about it regularly.)
The turquoise waters, the puffy clouds, the bright blue sky, the white sandy shores...everything was absolutely picture perfect.
I wish I could go back and bask in the sunshine...but until then, I can make my own fruit punch and enjoy the tropical flavors right here at home.
Pictured with a Pina Colada on the beach.
In the meantime, while I am living in the cold dessert of Utah, I mix up this tropical fruit punch and close my eyes to imagine turquoise waters and the sound of the waves.
I make this as a non-alcoholic fruit punch but it can be made with a dash of rum too!
It's a simple drink recipe that you can make a whole batch or just make a mason jar full.
I asked one of the Beaches staff what was the drink recipe of the most amazing Fruit Punch they serve. She said, "Pineapple Juice, Orange Juice and Grenadine". Boom.
Now I just needed to discover the perfect combination of juices and sugar syrup.
Supplies Needed for Tropical Fruit Punch Mocktail:
- Orange Juice
- Pineapple Juice
- Grenadine Syrup
- Ice (Pellet or Nugget ice is best!)
- Glasses
- Straws (glass are my new favorite!)
- Measured Pitcher
- Punch Bowl (if making this for a party or event)
I love these 20 ounce glasses that are soda can shaped!
The lids are awesome and the glass straws make me so happy!
Fill a big punch bowl of non-alcoholic punch for the family and the adults can spike theirs as desired.
Step 1 for Tropical Fruit Punch Mocktail:
Fill glass with pellet, nugget or pebble ice. Regular ice cubes or chunks work too, pebbles are just too cute!
I bought a bag of pebble ice at Sonic, it was well worth the drive because the pebble ice is perfection for rum punch mocktails. (ice from ice cube trays works great too!)
I filled the glass nearly full of ice.
Step 2 for Tropical Fruit Punch Mocktail:
Next fill the glass of ice 2/3 full of Orange Juice.
I always make sure to buy 100% fruit juices for this recipe...not just diluted with lots of added sugar.
Step 3 for Tropical Fruit Punch Mocktail:
Then fill add one third part of Pineapple Juice to the glass, leaving a little room in the top of the glass for the syrup.
The combination of the perky pineapple flavor with the roundness of the orange juice is golden.
Step 4 for Tropical Fruit Punch Mocktail:
Finally add 2 tablespoons or a "splash" of Grenadine Syrup to the glass. Grenadine is basically pomegranate juice with lots of sugar to make a simple syrup.
The syrup is thick and heavy and will sink to the bottom of the glass creating a gorgeous sunset vibe.
Seriously a gorgeous and delicious non-alcoholic drink!
Add a lid and straw if desired!
If you are a pirate, I hear it's good with a little rum too--although all my drinks are the virgin rum punch mocktails I could plunder.
This fabulous drink is a show stopper all on it's own, but you could add bottles of sodas in lemon juice flavor to give it a little fizz.
You could serve it with pretty little orange slices to impress all the party guests too!
Enjoy the tropics all year long with this fresh fruit island punch!
This is such a beautiful and tasty drink for a hot Summer day.
After trying it out, maybe you'll want to experiment with mocktail mixing by adding mango juice or even some cranberry juice to it.
That's it!
Enjoy this delicious drink year round, at a special event or just to celebrate another day successfully passed!
It's gorgeous sunset colors; pink, orange and yellow, just sing of Summer time and the warmth of the tropics.
This fabulous drink will be a family and personal favorite for sure!
