Star Wars Cricut Patterned Iron-on Tote Bag!
Star Wars comes out this weekend! I'm super excited about the last installment of the third trilogy! I grew up watching Star Wars and even though I wish Qui-Gon Jinn pushed Jar Jar Binks in front of that federation tank, I'll keep watching all the movies.Did you see the adorable Baby Yoda bag I posted yesterday? It's so cute...and I know today I am sharing another tote...but this iron on technique is perfect for shirts, pillowcases, or any other fabric surface.
Cricut has a full line of Star Wars themed Iron-on vinyl and it's the best! Check it out here.
I picked the most darling Star Wars print, it's got my 3 favorite little droids on it...R2D2, C3PO and BB8.
Patterned iron-on works great for big, bold designs. Think silhouette shapes, logos or even big Mickey Mouse ears. Perfect for large scale projects.
Place the iron on on the mat with the patterned side down. Reverse the image in Cricut Design Space and click the cut button.
I designed a simple circle with the Star Wars logo sliced out of the center.
After cutting it, remove the iron-on and weed the excess vinyl with the hook tool.
Super simple. The pattern makes the project for sure!
Warm up the EasyPress 2, then press it on the fabric to warm it up. Place the iron on vinyl on the tote, shirt, fabric, etc.
Press the iron-on for the recommended time/settings.
Then let the fabric cool down completely. Next peel off the carrier sheet.
It's as easy as that! Looks super intricate and complicated, but it is a breeze and easy to whip up for the premiere of the movie this weekend! I couldn't get tickets until next Monday...no spoilers!
