I love my Cricut Maker! I've been testing out some of the new tools for the adaptive tool set. I wasn't sure if I would like the Wavy blade, but it's really fun! This cute Valentine Card inspired by conversation hearts is easy to make using the Cricut Maker, drawing pen and the wavy cut blade. Insert a lollipop for the perfect Valentine's Day gift! Giveaway details at the end of the post.
Make the most darling Valentine's to pass out to friends, school teachers and coworkers! These cute cards have lots of room for writing on the inside...or make them without a card base and just sign your name.
Cricut Maker
Cricut Wavy Blade
Cricut Pens and Markers
Cricut Cardstock Sampler
Fine Point Cutting Blade (included with machine)
Cricut Cutting Mat
Lollipops
Foam Tape
Permanent Adhesive
And this Cricut Design Space Project I designed!
The Cricut Maker will begin by writing the phrase on the paper. Then it will cut with the Wavy blade. Finally it will ask you to insert the fine point blade and it will cut the 2 small slits for the suckers.
Repeat the writing, cutting and slitting process with different colors of cardstock.
Fold half sheets of white card stock in half for the card base (if desired).
Then use the permanent adhesive to secure the colored paper to the white folded card base.
Then set up the hearts on the cards and decide what color combinations you like best!
Then insert a lollipop into the slit on the heart. Turn the heart over and place foam tape on the backside of it.
Then stick the heart on the card center. I tried it without inserting the lollipop first and it was trickier to get the sucker in.
Then repeat the taping and lollipopping for each Valentine card.
They are so cute! That little Wavy edge gives the card a vintage/lacy look, perfect for Valentine's Day.
