Are you a Rae Dunn lover? Confession, I don't own anything authentic Rae Dunn, because I haven't found any of it in the thrift store yet. But I'll let you know when I do!
Do you shop at thrift stores? I love them. I can consistently find all the trendy items three years after they hit store shelves. I know that if I wait long enough, I'll find everything I could possibly want.
In the meantime, I'll DIY all the things.
Supplies Needed:
Cricut Maker or cutting machineBlack Vinyl
Transfer Tape
Giant Easter Eggs
Wire Basket
Step 1: Cut Vinyl
Begin by picking your favorite Rae Dunn inspired font. I've got 5 free fonts at the end of this post. Then type the text you desire in Cricut Design Space and size them down to an inch tall. Then cut out the black vinyl.
Next, weed the vinyl and place transfer tape on top. Clean off the egg with a little rubbing alcohol and a cotton pad, and allow it to dry. Then peel the white backing off the vinyl and place the vinyl on the plastic egg.
Step 2: Application
Press down the vinyl with a plastic scraper or your finger. Then peel off the plastic transfer tape by rolling it back over itself, instead of pulling up.Step 3: Repeat!
Then repeat the process for each of the plastic eggs. These would be perfect as gifts with kids names on them. Fill them up with goodies and then wrap them in cellophane and tie with a bow.
That's it!
