Supplies Needed for Relaxing Glitter Jar:
Water
Wisk
E6000 Glue
Step 1: Adding Glitter Glue
Begin by dumping 1/3 of the glitter glue in the jar.
Add 1 cup of warm water to the jar.
Wisk the Glitter Glue into the warm water.
Step 2: Add the Glitter
Add 3 little containers of glitter into the jar. You can add less, especially if you are making more glitter jars.
Step 3: Add Water
Fill up the jar, nearly to the top with water.
Look at that solid glitter! It's shiny and sparkly!
Step 4: Glue the Lid Shut
Now to keep little cuties from accidentally opening the jar and making a glitter waterland all over your home, let's glue the lid on.
Pipe a bead of E6000 glue all over the top edge of the plastic mason jar.
Then screw the lid on tight and let the jar sit untouched for 4 hours.
The glitter settles to the bottom of the jar and is ready to shake up and watch the glitter swirl and dance. Use this as a time-out jar and let your child watch the jar until the glitter settles. Or use it as a reward to sit and watch the swirly glitter fall.
It's just as fun for my teenagers and myself to play with these as it is for kids. Make all 12 and drop some off to your friends too!
