Weasley Is Our King Shirt with Cricut Iron-on!
Harry Potter crafts are my favorite--I'm such a geek. Weasley is our King! Make a Harry Potter inspired shirt in just a few minutes using a Cricut machine and iron-on vinyl.
This fun shirt is inspired by Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix book.
Ron Weasley is the Quidditch Keeper, and Slytherin makes up this mocking song chanting "Weasley is our King".
Weasley cannot save a thing,
He cannot block a single ring,
That's why Slytherins all sing:
Weasley is our King.
Weasley was born in a bin
He always lets the Quaffle in
Weasley will make sure we win
Weasley is our King.
Weasley is our King,
Weasley is our King,
He always lets the Quaffle in
Weasley is our King.
Supplies Needed for Harry Potter Shirt:
- Cricut Machine
- Cricut EasyPress 2
- EasyPress Mat
- Cricut Iron-on Vinyl (I'm using Gold Foil)
- Harry P Font (FREE font here)
- Cricut Design Space (Crown image)
- Shirt
You can design your own image or just right click and save off the png above. Then import it into Cricut Design Space.
Step 1: Cricut Design Space
Begin by designing your image layout. Use my text above and add a little crown. I used Cricut Access for the crown.
Then weld the crown to the text, then click the make it button. Mirror the image before cutting. Place the iron on vinyl on the mat with the shiny side down.
Step 2: Weed Vinyl
After cutting the image, remove the vinyl from the mat and trim the vinyl. Then remove the excess vinyl with the hook tool.
I love weeding iron-on vinyl!
It stretches and the cuts are so clean, it's the best vinyl for weeding!
Make sure that the insides of letters are weeded too--I've forgotten those before!
Step 3: EasyPress 2
Then warm up the EasyPress 2 and press it on the shirt to warm it up. Then place the vinyl on the warm shirt.
Then press the iron-on vinyl down firmly with the EasyPress for the recommended amount of time.
Then turn the shirt over and press the back for about 15 seconds.
Step 4: Remove Carrier Sheet
After letting the shirt cool down completely, peel off the carrier sheet. It's easiest to roll it back over itself.
That's it! Cricut makes shirt making so easy!
I love that I can quickly put a shirt together for a last minute gift or just for fun!
I love making shirts like this for family vacations too.
Like a fun trip to Universal Studios...anyone planning a Fall vacation?
