Tombow Creativity Kit Star Shadow Lettering!
Tombow has just launched another Creativity Kit! It comes with all the supplies and instructions to make a project. The focus this time is on lettering. Learn a fun style of lettering with galaxy shadows.
My creativity is low these days...like, really low. We've spent all Summer doing home repairs and remodeling that my mind is melted and I am just dog-paddling through each day. The end is in sight, but still so much to do.
I'm on Tombow's Design Team and they sent me this Creativity Kit to test out and show you! I love their supplies and highly recommend them...I buy them myself! Affiliate links are also included.
This kit was perfect for me. Just what I needed! I usually am the one making up the ideas and projects, that it was nice to just follow the directions and make something wonderful.
Also, this kit makes a great gift! But hurry, it will not last long--these kits sell out super fast!
The Creativity Kit contains:
Dual Brush Pens in Purple Blendables
MONO Drawing Pen 03
Tombow Calligraphy Pen
Blending Palette
Star Shadow Lettering Instructions
There's a template to trace for the perfect lettering finish...perfect if you are unsure about your lettering skills. This was fun for me to trace, because I do not mix lettering styles like this. These supplies are top quality and can be used for so many other projects too!
I used a tracing light pad to trace the pattern, but taping the image and paper on a lit window works great too!
The lightest color in the Dual Brush Pen set is perfect for blending all the colors. It's great for tracing out the lettering too.
Then add a shadow to the side of the letters.
Fill shadows with tiny stars and dots!
And then add all the colors to the letters. I love the finished look of this fun project. It's using a style I wouldn't normally use...and colors I wouldn't normally pick! It's great to step out of your comfort zone a little--right!?
This kit would make a great holiday gift too--just buy it now before it sells out and tuck it away. Trush me, your future self will thank you! I love being ahead on gift purchases for the holidays. It's great for the budget and the anxiety--plus, I'm pretty sure I'll be doing all my shopping online this year anyway. (thanks Covid!)
