More step by step sticker creation details on this post!
Step 1: Design Sticker Image
- Begin by opening up Cricut Design Space.
- Then click the upload button. Select your desired picture and remove the background if needed.
- Then select the COMPLEX image type. Next save the image as a Print Then Cut image.
- Finally upload the image into your canvas. Arrange and attach images as desired and then send click make!
Step 2: Print Stickers
Through Cricut Design Space, click "make". Then click the "Send the page to the printer". It will print a rectangle registration mark around the entire page. The Cricut is amazing and will scan the marks so it cuts it out perfectly.
Step 3: Cut Stickers
After printing, place the page on the Cricut Light Grip Mat and then place it in the Cricut.
The Cricut will scan the line and cut out the images...so you have no pressure trying to line up the paper exactly perfectly.
**HOT TIP**
If the stickers do not print and cut well, the fault is likely that your Cricut needs to be calibrated. This is easily done in Cricut Design Space. If you haven't calibrated your blade before, do it first before trying to cut stickers.
Have the kids draw a picture and then transform it into stickers for them to decorate the gifts they give the family. It's a fun way to make wrapping and gifting presents even more meaningful.
Print photos of each child in the family and use that as the tag, so they know which gifts are for them! Give a bunch of photos of yourself or a family member as a funny white elephant gift!
These aren't paper stickers, they are vinyl...so they are tough! They work great over layers of twine or even on a package you are sending through the mail. They are sure to make the holiday packages merry and bright!
That's it!
Upgrade your holiday gift giving presentation with these vinyl gift tags!
