How to Heat Foil a Harry Potter Card!
A chocolate a day keeps the dementors away! Professor Remus Lupin has to be one of my most favorite characters from the Harry Potter saga. "Eat, you'll feel better." Is my all time favorite Harry Potter quote.
I put together this fun card as the perfect addition to some chocolate! Make a great gift for a friend or hang the printable in the kitchen as the perfect reminder of what's important.

Foiling cards is so fun. It takes a couple specialized tools, but it's well worth it for the fun things you can make and embellish!

Supplies Needed for Harry Potter Foil Chocolate Card:
Laser Paper (32 pound)
Cardstock
Blade for Distressing
***Dementor Calligraphy Image***

Step 1: Printing!
Begin by printing the design on the 32 pound paper in the laser printer. Laser toner is perfect for so many crafts, it's totally worth the investment. Or take the image to a copy store and have a page printed for you.
Step 2: Foiling!
Now, this part isn't pictured well, but it's easy. Take a sheet of regular paper and fold it in half. Open it up and place the laser printed image on the side of the fold. Then place a piece of foil over the top of the laser printed image, with the shiny foil side facing up.
Then fold the paper over and run it through the heated up laminator. One pass is all it needs for the perfect shiny foil transfer.
Step 3: Foil Reveal!
Then open up the paper and peel the foil off the laser printed image to reveal the shimmer of foil over the ink!
Step 4: Card Making!
Now use a blade around the edge of the paper to rough them up slightly. Then tape the image to a piece of cardstock.
Rough up the edges of the cardstock and tape it onto a patterned piece of paper.
Then tape the stacked image onto a folded card. It's ready to sign inside and tie on a gift of chocolate for a friend.
