How to Make a Balloon Garland!
I love a great party! In fact, I've been know to decorate and set up a "fake" party, just to serve a little cake or dessert to my family. They love it though.
The quickest way to set up for a party is with a simple--but outstanding balloon garland! This is a balloon garland kit from Partyeight, but they have so many fun balloons on their site, for every occasion.
I love parties. When I was little my mom would plan elaborate themed parties for us when we turned an even number...so not every year...but almost. I've taken after her, except I do parties every year...and sometimes for no reason at all.
Partyeight has taken all the guess work out of setting up for a party. Just order the balloons or kit you want and it's a piece of cake to set it up.
I found command hooks work best for hanging the balloons, but you can build an arch, frame a doorway, drape it across or over a table or build a structure to attach to.
They've got themed party balloons, letter mylar balloons--which are reusable, and much more!
Supplies Needed for Balloon Garland:
If you just want the tools for a balloon garland, because you have your own balloons, get this kit.
Step 1 for Balloon Garland:
Begin by pumping the balloons full of air. I use an electric pump because time...but the hand pump included works too.
Step 2: Thread onto Balloon Chain
The magic is this plastic strip with little holes for balloon tails. This chain spaces the balloons out just enough to fill the space with bubbly balloons.
This is where the piece comes together beautifully. Just fill a balloon, tie it off and thread it into the plastic balloon chain strip.
See how the balloons just absolutely look amazing all clustered together?
You can scatter your balloons and spread all the colors around, or cluster them in color groups to give it an ombre effect.
Step 3: Hang up the Balloon Garland!
Then use the plastic balloon chain to hook it right on a command hook on the wall. This makes it a breeze to transform your own house into a party backdrop--with super easy clean up too!
I hung my balloon garland so they would swag down in the center. I love the bright blues in there! This mix of balloons just sings to me.
Perfect backdrop for photos, a cake smash or a table filled with party food too!
Have you done a balloon garland before?
That's it! It's really so easy to set up for a party with Partyeight!
Let me tell you about this loaded drip cake!
I love parties...but I love chocolate more. This cake is chocolate cake layered with brownie layers, cookie dough layers and chocolate fudge frosting. It's topped with chocolate fudge and all the treats! It has cookie dough, brownie balls, candy bars, and ganache truffles.
It's messy looking, but oh so yummy!
I made this for my son's 19th birthday last June. I cut into it and gave everyone a small piece--which was plenty. Then I cut the rest of the cake and froze them in smaller segments for later. It was perfect to enjoy on a bunch of different occasions with all of us...like the gift that keeps on giving!
