Supplies Needed for Patterned HTV Tote Bag: Patterned Heat Transfer Vinyl Tote Bag Heat Press (I'm using my HTVRONT Autopress) Weeding Hook Tool Cricut Machine

Step 1: Cut Heat Transfer Vinyl

Begin by selecting a shape, design or phrase you want cut into the vinyl.

I picked this hand lettered "hi cutie"...although with the busy flowers it's not super readable.

Oh well.

Then stick the HTV with the pattern side on the sticky part of the mat and the white shiny side up.

Then reverse or mirror the image.

Then have the Cricut machine cut the vinyl.

Step 2: Weed the HTV

After removing the cut vinyl from the machine, it's easy to go in and weed out the excess HTV.

I LOVE weeding HTV, it's so smooth, stretchy and easy to remove.

It's so dreamy.

This can be done with a large hand held heat press or the Cricut EasyPress too!

Let the tote cool down and then peel off the carrier sheet.

I love a sturdy twill tote bag!

This bag will be great for groceries, the farmers market, using as a gift basket, or just carting things around from place to place.

One can never have too many tote bags.
