Fallout 76 Recipe: Brahmin Burgers
I love Nuka World on Tour, Fallout 76 Season 11 update, and can't get enough of the fun carnival fair recipes!
Brahmin Burgers are a fun surprise as you head to one of the trailers by the Nuka Cade.
Usually situated near where Pete Myers is hanging out at the picnic tables.
Good old Pete Myers--he gets a bad wrap.
He launches the quest line for Seismic Activity...and it's a favorite event for sure.
On the counter and grill of the trailer, you'll find some spawn Brahmin Burgers.
There's 3 on the counter...and 2 on the grill.
There's also salt, pepper and oil on the counter.
The Brahmin Burger is basically a double with no bun or veggies.
You can purchase additional Brahmin Burgers from Betty Hill near Tunnel of Love.
The recipe for Brahmin Burgers has a 9% drop rate after completing Tunnel of Love event.
All the new Nuka World on Tour recipes have a chance of dropping from Tunnel of Love...do this event ANY time it pops up--if you already have the plan, they sell great at your vendor shop.
Once you know the Brahmin Burger plan, you can easily craft it at your cooking station.
Brahmin Burger in-game Recipe:
- 2 Salt
- 2 Brahmin meat
- 1 Wood
Of course, I feel just awful killing any Brahmin in the game, but sometimes you can find meat other places.
Sometimes bagging a few brahmin is just part of the daily challenges.
I head over to the wayward or Big Bend Tunnel--East and just take care of it...gathering up the food and leather and making Brahmin Burgers or Nuka Bottle Rocket Dogs.
Ingredients Needed for Brahmin Burgers:
- 2 Pounds of Ground Beef (I got mine for a steal because it was oxidizing already)
- 1 Cup of Old Fashioned Oats
- 2 Eggs (mirelurk or radtoad...only 1 deathclaw egg needed, since they are so big😉)
- 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Coarse Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Pepper
Step 1: Mix Ingredients
Dump all the ingredients into a bowl and mix them up, unceremoniously.
Just get all the ingredients incorporated.
Then split up the meat mixture into 8-10 sections and begin patting or pressing them out into burgers.
Step 2: Grill
Place the double burger on the grill or skillet.
These Brahmin burgers were pretty hard to keep together as one burger, but it actually worked out pretty well.
It's a lot of burger to eat, so I ended up just making single burgers for my family anyway.
I love adding old fashioned oats to my burgers.
Oats are the best source of fiber and help you feel full and satisfied for longer.
If I can sneak oats into something I'm cooking--I do.
Then add whatever extras and sides you want to actually eat, since plain old double brahmin burgers are just fun for the Fallout game.
What is a Brahmin?
Brahmin are two-headed, mutated descendants of domestic cows in the Fallout universe, recognized for their large, muscular bodies and distinctive humped backs.
Primarily used as pack animals and livestock, Brahmin are valued for their ability to carry heavy loads and withstand harsh environments.
They provide essential resources for Wastelanders, including milk, meat, and leather. They are often accompanied by human handlers...and Chally hangs out with Grahm, if you are lucky enough to bump into them around the wasteland.
Brahmin caravans traverse the wasteland, facilitating trade between settlements, while their presence in agriculture aids in crop transportation and field plowing.
Despite their docile nature, Brahmin can become aggressive when provoked, underscoring their importance in the post-apocalyptic world's survival and economy.
What is the Blue Ridge Caravan Company?
The Blue Ridge Caravan Company is a faction featured in Fallout 76, operating as a prominent trading organization in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Appalachia.
Specializing in organizing and facilitating trade caravans, they transport goods and supplies between settlements, fostering economic connections throughout the region.
Headquartered at Big Bend Tunnel East, the company is led by a leadership group overseeing operations and strategic decisions. The event Riding Shotgun is escorting a team of 2 Brahmin through the mines and out to the Big Bend Tunnel West. It's a fun event and you can get Brahmin milk from 8 Brahmin if you want...or kill a couple for meat too.
However, like many factions in the Fallout universe, the Blue Ridge Caravan Co. face rivalries and conflicts with other groups competing for resources and territory...Vinny leads the crew and he's got big Mob Boss energy.
Players in Fallout 76 can interact with the Blue Ridge Caravan Company, participating in quests and events related to the faction, which can impact their reputation and standing within the wasteland.
That's it!
Brahmin burgers are a great item to add to your Fallout cookbook and Wasteland menu!
This recipe works great for smash burgers and a burger press too--so keep it in the arsenal for meal time and enjoy this hearty protein dish!
