Host the Perfect Vault-Tec Birthday Party Fallout 76
Throw a Fallout themed Vault-Tec Party for the Vault Dwellers in your life!
Maybe you are finishing up a semester at Vault Tec University and a party in your school colors is great!
I'll show you all the things needed for the perfect, yet effortless, Vault-Tec party!
The obvious signs that you are obsessed with Fallout, is the Vault-Tec Party.
Fallout is typically showcased in blue and yellow since the video game series began, and any rookie's guide will focus on these colors.
Setting up the party is a breeze, especially with a few handmade pieces.
Setting Up Party:
- Begin with a table slid up against a wall for the backdrop.
- A basic party kit is a nice way to get your party colors...there's a whole host of options, but here's the one I used--minus the graduation banner--but this could also be a grad party.
- Posters or a Nuke Bomb Wall Sign, Vintage Treasures, Bottle caps, CRAM and Sugar Bombs are the perfect decor--bust out anything old, like a vinyl record, vhs tape or cassette tape.
- Cut a Vault symbol out of paper for the Cake Topper!
Make the Vault-Tec Fallout Cake!
I used to make cakes all the time, but it's not my favorite thing to do.
Now I hire a small businesses to make cakes and these types of goods and made-to-order items for me!
This is my friend Something Special Custom Cakes. (5-star reviews!)
She always brings my ideas to life and works in the perfect delivery time for me.
The cake is part of the Fallout universe.
The latest version is now on Fallout 76 and generates slices of birthday cake over a period of time.
I know this cake was in Fallout 3 but not sure if it made it to Fallout Shelter or Fallout New Vegas.
I love the classic, old school, vintage vibe of the cake.
The classic swirl candles...the swirls of frosting.
I love it!
I decorated with a couple of Funko Pop Fallout toys that a friend of mine gave me in their original packaging.
I immediately opened them and use them all the time--plus they are part of my home decor now.

VAULT-TEC SPECIAL
We bought a CD or DVD version of Fallout 4 and it came with this cool Vault-Tec SPECIAL Poster!
I had it laminated so I could hang it up as a background wall art...some nuclear bomb art would work too...or you could make a hazardous materials sign out of paper for the background.
The S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Perks are Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility and Luck.
They give you bonus points to critical functions and perks like locking picking or making your perishable goods last longer.
There's tons of Youtube videos on how to set up the best characters...I just pick the caricatures I like best!
I used balloon sticks from the dollar store and stuck them inside a vase.
I used command hooks to hang the tassel bunting.
The fringe backdrop has adhesive on it and that was enough to stick it to the wall without damaging it but stay stuck all day.
I printed out a little vault boy poster and stuck it under the table just for fun!
This hairpin leg table has been awesome for lots of parties and projects for years--make your own with this fun tutorial.
The cake is classic funfetti, just like in the Fallout video game series!
The cake slice on Fallout 76 is full of little sprinkles too--see that awesome attention to detail!?
I made some resin cola bottles with blue mica powder for table scatter.
These would be great for take home party favors too!
The good news is that I didn't have to go buy anything but the food for this party!
Of couse, having a selection of four-star party supplies, balloons and banners is a big part of that.
But you can get great quality party supplies at the dollar store too.
Just start by looking around your house and see what you already have and can use in original condition or with a bit of adaptation.
I totally recommend a color printer--with a few powerful tools, you'll get a great value of your return because you can use it for so many things.
I used my Cricut Maker 3 to quickly cut the Vault Tec symbol out of blue paper with a 14 in the center.
Use the birthday person's age as the vault door number!
A big fat boy bomb sign, arcade light sign or nuke light sign would be a great addition to the party--and home decor or man cave, video game room or she-shed too!
I've played Fallout 76 for a huge amount of days--that I'm the one utterly obsessed with the game and looking for merch on the etsy app and the global marketplace.
Nerds want merchandise! (although their bank account might not!)
If you know a nerd and you're a gift giver--a Fallout themed gift basket or party is the way to their heart!
What is Vault-Tec?
That's it!
Throw the perfect Vault-Tec Fallout themed Birthday Party for the geek in your life!
This yellow and blue party is easy to put together with some party supplies and DIY handmade pieces to finish it off!
