How to do Marble Effect Art (Acrylic, Resin, Enamel)
I'm sharing lots of ways to achieve the marble effect on art--using acrylic paint, resin, and even water marbling with enamel.
Paint pouring and marbling have so many different processes and mediums, it's hard to know where to start.
If you are new to paint pouring and want to give it a try, I recommend buy pre-mixed paints.
I love FolkArt Drizzle paints and am a Plaid Ambassador.
If you are experienced or working with an older crowd, Easy Marble is so much fun, but has less working time, so being quick and paying attention is important.
If you are ready to kick it up a notch and finish with a thick glossy finish, then try out resin paint pours for the ultimate in paint pouring achievement.
I've got a project that is done with shaving cream and it's great for younger ages.
I've got one that is done with nail polish.

Paint Pouring for Beginners!
If you are a beginner, get pre-mixed paints...then you don't have to mess with flotrol and making each cup of paint the consistency of warm honey!
Start with something easy--like pouring on rocks, small wood slices or a canvas.
Then let your skill take off with more complicated projects.
The learning curve is not steep...one paint pour or marbling project and you'll be a pro.
Then you can prime your dresser drawers or coffee table with white paint and do big paint pouring projects and furniture upcycling--like a faux marble table.
It's so much fun--just get started!
