Resin Crafting Basics:

First thing, set up a work area with a disposable work surface...I use a plastic tablecloth, scrap cardboard or paper.

Work in a well-ventilated area taking safety precautions, wearing gloves and a ventilator mask.

Read through the directions for the resin so you know what to expect and do before beginning the mixing process.

In the 2 step mixing process, be sure to use a new clean cup and a new clean stir stick for the second stir session.

Mix equal parts resin and equal part resin cure, and stir for the allotted time for best results.

Resin Tips and Tricks:

Here's a few useful tips for working with any type of resin:

• If you don't follow the exact mixing process, the curing process will not work right...this part is super important.
• Pop any air bubbles that form in the resin after setting for 20 minutes with a heat gun or a torch.
• The Resin Mold makes a difference...if it is a shiny mold, your resin will have a shiny finish...if not it will appear cloudy.
• To find out how much resin to mix up, fill your mold with water and then pour the mold out in a measuring cup...then mix up that much ml of resin.
• Trim rough edges or use a sanding block gently on the edges.
