One of my favorite things is a simple door hanging.

Not big and bulky; but subtle, natural and inviting--with a beautiful ribbon bow!

I love the look of the three tiers and variety of wood bead sizes.

It's the perfect balance of elements.

This isn't an Autumn or Fall wreath only, this gorgeous wreath can be made with a little more elements for holiday specific vibes...or kept simple and natural for a year round wreath or door ornament.

Add pine and holly berries for Winter, add little velvet pumpkins or maple leaves for Autumn, Tulips and pastels for Spring or bright colors for Summertime.

Whatever vibe is yours, this wood bead tiered wreath is the perfect base.

Step 1: Brass Wreath Rings

Begin by opening up the brass rings.

They are all welded closed, so you will need some wire cutters to snip them at the weld.

Clipping the wire wreath forms right at the connection point is the best way to keep the wreath beautiful and smooth, since some of the wire will show with the finished wreath.

Step 2: Wood Beads

Now string wood beads on the wire, I'm using small, medium and large wood beads.

Begin with the smallest of the wire rings.

String on 4 medium sized wood beads and then one large bead.

Repeat that pattern for half of the wire wreath form.

String on all large beads for the middle sized wreath form.

Finally string on one small bead, three medium sized beads, one small bead, one large bead onto the largest wire form...and repeat for half of the wire wreath form.

Step 3: Attach Wire Forms

Gather the three wreath forms in order of size.

Hot glue them right in the joints and then wrap a 1/2" wide ribbon all around the joints.

This should secure the wires firmly, keeping them in line with each other.

Step 4: Bow and Greenery

Now add a buffalo plaid ribbon bow right over the ribbon wrap.

No need to tie a double knot, but you can add a little dot of hot glue on the center of the knot if you want it a little more secure.

The starting point is to make sure the ribbon doesn't twist while you tie the bow.

The final touch is to add a couple of sprigs of greenery on the edges of the bow, hot glue them in place in the back of the ribbon bow.

The great thing is that the greenery and bow can be swapped out different ways for any holiday, season or occasion.

This isn't really a kids craft, but could be used as a fun teaching tool to let little hands learn to thread those beads on the wire for some great hand-eye coordination.

If you are just DIY'ing this tiered bead wreath on your own, you can finish the whole project in less than an hour.

It's a fun craft and would make a great handmade gift for a friend or family member.
