Happy Fallout Day!  #thedaythebombsfell

Canonically the bombs in the Fallout universe fell on October 23rd, so it's a day to remember...not necessarily celebrate...but let's craft today!

I'm making a fun Fallout gift basket, similar to the basket that Bridie gives to Maximus in the Amazon Prime Fallout series, season one.

I'm making a fun Fallout gift basket, similar to the basket that Bridie gives to Maximus in the Amazon Prime Fallout series, season one.

If you watched the Amazon Prime Fallout Series last April, you'll remember when Lucy and Maximus end up in Vault 4 beneath Hawthorne Medical Laboratories.

Maximus was trying to convince Lucy that the vault members were a cult, "everyone's smiling"...she didn't agree.

By the end of their experiences in the vault, Maximus was keen to stay and Lucy believed it to be a cult.

Birdie, the overseer's assistant gives Maximus his own place and a generous gift basket...wondering if he'll call Vault 4 home.

This keychain looks just like keys scattered around Appalachia in Fallout 76 and is a fun prop to leave laying around the house. IYKYK.

Crafting the Apocalypse has become my newest obsession--I'm thinking of new Fallout crafts to make every day.

Hopefully there's other Fallout nerds out there to appreciate these--or at least this can give you an idea on how to cast an object in mold making resin and duplicating it in resin.

Then fill it with DTF Transfers, vinyl, flocked vinyl or pins and flair.

In the world of fashion, where creativity knows no bounds, the fusion of gaming culture and street style has become a unique trend.

Vault 76 High Vis Running Shirt

Make a high visibility running shirt for a little hack light light in the night.

Customize it with your favorite silhouette design.

I'm featuring the Fallout Vault-Tec logo on the front and the Vault 76 logo on the back...would you say that it looks radioactive? 😆😆😆

Repeat the process for the back of the shirt...the back of this shirt's design dictated where I needed to put the design, so it worked out perfectly. Normally I would go down 4 inches from the neckline hem. See how it lights up in the dark with a flash!? I love it!

Fallout themed Shirts

Making a Fallout themed t-shirt is a must for any Fallout fan!

I was strolling through the dollar store the other day and found this metal bottle cap hanger...I knew immediately that I had to make a Nuka Cola label for it.

It goes great with all my Fallout themed decorations--and would make a great gift for a Fallout gamer fan!

Now I am officially obsessed with all things Fallout. If I see a wood pile on a walk outside...I think about scrapping it. If I see a Mole Miner pail at a yard sale...I buy it. If I see SPAM at the store...I think CRAM. Do you let video games take over your brain too?

Hey friends, I'm Natalie, and I confess: I play a lot of video games! Okay, I've confessed. I love Fallout. I've played hundreds of hours worth of Fallout 4 and I'm nearly at 2,000 hours of Fallout 76 in the past year. Don't judge, I know how much Netflix you're watching.

Fallout 4 Themed Party!

Homemade decor and found items make the perfect set up--grab some junk from the garage...an old fan, lunchbox, empty canisters, ammo cases, old military duffle bag, even a metal barrel to bring the Wasteland set up indoors.

Use an open shelf to create a workshop look.
Fill it with CRAM, Nuka Cola, Sugar Bombs and more!

You can print out the Nuka Cola labels or do some fake calligraphy Fallout writing and make your own labels. (free printables at the end of this post)

Around the beginning of 2021, I decided to play the video game that my husband has played for thousands of hours throughout the last 6 years, Fallout 4. I created a vault dweller girl and began my quest. My husband sat by me and played the guitar so I wouldn't get lost or too scared. Oh and trust me, I got lost a lot! Spatial awareness and navigation are NOT my strong suit, so there was a lot of backtracking on my part. I made tropical oasis settlements, downloaded some mods to help and had a complete blast playing Fallout 4. I loved the conversations with NPC's and companion characters too. I really feel like the game was geared toward playing a female character so it was the perfect combination of war and parties.

How to make a Vault-Tec Lunchbox with Sublimation Printing

Again, sublimation printing is awesome for detail and image vibrancy.

This lunchbox was easy to make and so fun to have as home decor!

Lunchboxes on Fallout are icon and a fun item to find or buy during gameplay.

They picture a line up of people going into the vault with a Vault Boy in the bottom corner.

The edges of the lunchbox are typically decorated with Vault Boy in various perk poses...but I'm keeping this one simple.
