Top 20 Crafts to make in 2024 (Best Trending Craft)
Here's the top 20 Doodlecraft posts of the year! I'm Natalie and I am the sole crafter here at Doodlecraftblog. I'm just excited to share my top posts of the year. It's basically my Winter wrap up, showcasing all the crafty things I made through the last year, created and experienced this year.
I have loved crafting my way through 2024 and learned so much--I started new hobbies, learned new craft skills and enjoyed pulling out some old hobbies too, especially those keeping up with craft trends (looking at you mushrooms!)
I spent the first quarter of the year making all kinds of Fallout themed crafts, parties and recipes--I love Fallout and the Amazon Prime series absolutely spurred me on.
The Fallout posts, crafts and tutorials did awesome and 5 of the top 20 posts are Fallout themed...the top recipe of the 20 I recreated was Blamco Mac and Cheese!
I did lots of cutting, crafting and engraving with my xTool S1--I made rubber stamps, engraved journals, made earring holders, acrylic cutting and used the IR laser to engrave on stainless steel...all of these posts did really well too! I had the chance to use the xTool screen printing kit and loved making shirts and handmade cards.
I made a bunch of paper crafts during 2024 which typically do well because they are very cost efficient, lots of bookmarks and surprisingly, they did awesome too! I got a Cricut Venture this year and was able to do big paper crafts easily with it!
I posted a DIY recipe for modeling paste and it was my #2 post this year--it's easy to make and you probably have the ingredients (or most of them) for it already!
I had so much fun crafting and creating during 2024, I can't wait to continue creating during 2025!
How many of these top 20 tutorial posts did you already see?
Which of these top trending crafts is your favorite?
Did you make any of these yourself this year?
These ranked posts are based on search volume, search demand, most profitable crafts but only focusing on crafts created during 2024 and posted here at Doodlecraftblog.com, no updates from recent years posts. (remember I share exclusive stuff over at @doodlecraft on Instagram too--things that don't quite have enough for a full blog post)
Surprisingly my air dry clay kits posts, resin crafts, seasonal crafts, Christmas decorations, Cricut and sublimation, tote bags, furniture refinishing and other easy crafts didn't even make the list. I love seeing what is the most popular and what trends...it's usually very different than I expected.
This is not the same across all social media platforms, just Doodlecraftblog.com.
I don't usually sell in an online store or online marketplace, but I had a few things listed on Etsy. I don't do craft fairs, I just love creating and teaching a wider audience how to make them themselves.
I want Doodlecraft to be a good place to learn to make handmade items regardless of skill level, and give others the possibility of making extra money through crafting...or just enjoy crafting as personal care.
I did a few live events this year and love sharing a popular craft with others that might not be involved in the craft world. I love sharing my tools and knowledge and supplies...so others don't have to invest in all the product to make something amazing.
I worked with a bunch of different companies this year and love working with them! affiliate links
