Want to plan the perfect Doctor Who Party?
Here's everything you'll need!
Decor:
We decorated the mantle with lots of Doctor Who stuff!
Vinyl signs, banner with Doctor Who catch phrases,
Hello, Lego Dr Who, Sonic Screwdrivers,
Bowties, badges and buttons, and even some Valentines!
Complete with Tardis Police Box garbage can!
We also decorated with blue and gold balloons!
Take a stroll through your dollar store...we looked
at everything that was tardis blue color!
We decorated the garbage can with white
shelf liner paper from the dollar store too!
The banner was made with cardstock and washi tape and vinyl alphabet stickers!
I didn't make invites, since it was just my family...
but you could always adapt a Valentine!
Food:
Treats! Try out these darling little Adipose Babies!
On sticks or on a plate! These were a big hit!
They are simple to make. We cut toothpicks in half with scissors.
Then stuck 2 mini marshmallows in the bottom of a large one, and 2 in the sides.
Then we used food coloring in black and a tiny paintbrush and just painted on their faces!
Totally edible! Then I couldn't resist to dip a few in chocolate and sprinkles!
For dinner ideas:
Fish and Chips...
we had chicken strips and oven fries.
Fish fingers and custard...
we had pudding with breadsticks rolled in butter then in
cinnamon and sugar and baked to look like fish fingers. A sweet treat!
What to WEAR???
T-shirts!
So easy. I find my t-shirts at the dollar store.
That's a pretty cheap shirt--I can justify making a shirt for every party guest!
But you could also ask everyone to bring a t-shirt to decorate...
that's a fun party craft!
(I used Heat Transfer Vinyl on some these shirts...
but you can use paint and freezer paper too! Tutorial here!)
