Varnish a Wood Table!
While my husband was away with work for a couple weeks,
I rushed to get this table finished.
And therefore, took really bad "how to" pictures in the process.
I bought a used wood pedestal table and unpacked it from the car and quickly took it apart.
Here's the base.
I taped it off...
Like this and spray painted it all black...
and didn't take any pictures.
I sanded down the whole top...
Flipped it over and taped off the edge...
Spray painted it all black.
(see my spray paint hoard back there?)
Now the Paint Brush cover came in to save the day!
I was sent a Paint Brush Cover!
You might have seen them on Shark Tank...
It's the perfect case for storing paint brush while painting different coats...
I varnished it with oil based varnish once...
let it dry overnight and then sanded it lightly...
While the brush remained uncleaned in the Paint Brush cover...
Makes a perfect seal.
Then added another coat!
Let it dry again...and then brought it inside...

Reassembled it and used the same black chairs from the last table.

And...
I've got a Paint Brush Cover to give away to one of you!

I have that very same table in my garage, waiting for me to find time to sand and stain it.

Your table looks fantastic, Natalie! Great job!!
I paint things all the time. I really kept it wet between coats?
