The ultimate question of this post...
Which wreath do you like best?
First I made a plush white fur wreath...
I had a used, reused wreath form and white faux fur.
I cut a piece slightly larger than the wreath form...about 2 inches.and then cut the center circle out.
I cut notches in the center...
So the fur would be easy to wrap around the wreath.
I used hot glue and just glued the fur around the wreath.
Bit by bit with lots of hot glue!
Until it was all wrapped.
The backside doesn't look the best...
But once you flip it over,
It's plush and perfect!
Fur is so in right now!
The fur also kind of acts like a pincushion...
so I decided some decor on the wreath was needed.
I received this big stack of fun papers, vinyl and tape from
Die Cuts With a View--or DCWV!
I've bought their paper for years now and absolutely love it!
They sent me lots of great holiday papers!
So much, I couldn't decide the theme I wanted...and did 3 versions.

Number 1:
I used Candy Cane Lane.
I love this paper.
It's all Black and White (my favorite ever) with bits of RED!
Perfect for the Holidays...totally classic!
When I saw this paper, I wanted all my decor to match this.
I cut a few pieces of paper patterns...
Gave them little pinked edges...like a flag banner or bunting...
Scored and folded down 1/4 inch
And hot glued it on some twine.
Then I added some Red and White polka dot ribbon!
And hot glued on 2 bows.
I just used corsage pins to attach the bunting to the fur wreath!
What do you think?
Number 2:
I used Sparkling Holiday!
Look at this paper...It's orchid, gold and silver shimmery foil!
Super elegant and classy!
I picked my favorite papers...it even includes the most adorable tags!
I cut them into triangle pennants.
Folded the top edge over 1/4" and snipped the corners.
Hot glued them on some twine and made a bow out of wire edged ribbon.
Just pinned it in place for elegant perfection!
I love how shimmery it is!
Number 3:
This paper pack was The Winter in the Woods!
It's adorable! I was the most skeptical about this one...but it is amazing!
There's cable knit sweater, deer, snowflakes and
vintage designs in kraft, aqua and whites!
I absolutely love the Merry and Bright tag!
All of these images are totally decor worthy!
I used an X shape of twine and just taped it right to the twine!
I have this amazing gold metallic holed ribbon stuff...
it was my dad's from decades ago...
and it's perfect to add a little shimmer to this design!
I just cut a piece and laid it under the bunting!
I love how it turned out!
I love being inspired by paper!
Amazing that all 3 of these wreath versions could have such a unique look!

Have you ever based your decor off of great paper?
