Unicorn Cotton Candy Party!
I just turned 35 and had the BEST party!!!
It was Unicorn themed!
We decorated with yummy cotton candy because I got my own
Cotton Candy Machine for Christmas from my sister in law!
We made fun rainbow and Unicorn poop cupcakes too!
Lots of sweet treats to eat!
Aren't these Unicorn Poop cupcakes just the best!?
Here's my cupcake/treat trick!
I fill these little treat cups with just a few sweet treats...
Then have the kids that come to the party can pick a cupcake
and put it right on top of the treats and carry it to their seat!
Easy peasy...stick a fork or spoon in there if you
don't just eat with your hands!
We had my rainbow flashing light going for added fun.
Lighting is so much fun!
Lots of fun things to look at!
I used a brick background from Lollipop Props
for the background.
I made a pom-pom garland...
I made a bunch of yo-yo paper fans...
Lights and Action!
Don't worry, I'll have tutorials for all of this in the days to come!
This way, it only needs to be hung from 2 places, instead of a command hook for each yo-yo.
Makes the perfect swag backdrop with this brick background!
Here's the fun with cotton candy!
It's big and fluffy and makes a great decoration.
I used FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam for the cotton candy displays.
I covered them in tissue paper and just stapled it loosely on the top.
Then poked a hole into it with a small screwdriver...
and stick the cotton candy cone right inside!
Gorgeous, full of colors and so much fun!
I hung bags of cotton candy on a piece of twine with clothespins.
They were the take home favor.
Cotton Candy is awesome...one bag only has the equivalent to 1 tablespoon of sugar!
So as far as sweet treats go...it's great!
It's party time!
Even these cute Equestria Girl Mini's got in on it!
Happy Birthday to me!!!

Paper yo-yo's are easy to make.
Just accordion fold pieces of paper, double them up and hot glue them in a circle shape.
Hot glue them to a round piece of paper on the backside and the front to get them
to hold their shape.
Then I used strips of foam core board and hot glued them across. This way, it only needs to be hung from 2 places, instead of a command hook for each yo-yo.
