Chocolate Cake Sprinkle Petit Fours
Petit Fours are tiny foods, translates to mean "tiny oven"
Anyway, they are adorable little treats that are perfect for a Tea Party or wedding.
Here's a quick video to show you how fun and simple this is!
You will need a cake, baked and frozen.
Sprinkles
Frosting (I used homemade buttercream)
Wide Piping tip and bag
Cut your frozen cake into 1 inch squares.
Cut the top off the cake so it is about 3/4 and inch tall.
Place sprinkles in a shallow tray.
Pipe a wide strip of frosting right on top of the sprinkles
It only needs to go around the perimeter of the cake, so about 4 inches long.
Roll the edges of your frozen cake right on the frosting.
The sprinkles pick up and make the edges look so adorable!
Then you can pipe a little frosting on the top and add a decoration like a rose
or a treat!
They are adorable!
Easy to serve and fun to eat!
