Wire Wrapped St. Patrick's Day Lucky Necklace!
Jewelry like this is so fun.
Wear it for daily wear or as a perfect accessory for St. Patrick's day!
Fun to make and great craft for tweens and teens...or a girl's night!
I got these fun supplies from Oriental Trading.
They send me supplies to work with and I love it.
They are the perfect spot for all things holiday, wedding, crafts,
kids, novelty toys, and high quality art supplies!
You will need:
Briolette Faceted beads, in green
Silver chain
Wire
Lucky Clover and Wish Charms
Jewelry pliers
jump rings
You will need about 12 inches of wire, 1 charm and one bead per necklace.
Make a loop in the center of the foot long piece of wire.
Give it a couple twists.
Then place it at the top of the briolette bead.
Then wrap the wire down the side and through the hole on both sides.
This will hold the loop tight on top.
Now wrap the 2 wires together and around the whole top of the briolette bead.
Until you run out of wire. Use jewelry pliers to gently tuck the ends in toward the center so
they don't scratch or snag clothes.
Use jewelry pliers to attach a jump ring and a charm to the loop.
Hook it on a chain for maximum perfection!
I love that wish bone charm!
So much fun--and 100% pinch proof!
